Description
Jules Nyssen is the current President of the French Renewable Energy Trade Association
(SER) since July 2022.
An economist by training and former associate University professor in economics, Jules
Nyssen was the executive president of Ateliers Jean Nouvel and held various managerial
positions in local authorities (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region, City of Montpellier)
and in the National Center for Territorial Civil Service (CNFPT). For 4 years, from 2018 to
2022, he was the general delegate of the Regions of France before making a professional
shift towards the energy transition within the Renewable Energy Trade Association (SER).
The SER brings together more than 500 members, representing a sector generating more
than 166,000 jobs. The professional organisation is made up of manufacturers from all
renewable energy sectors, at all levels of the value chain.
