Description
Marion Cuif coordinates Ifremer’s activities in the field of marine renewable energy. Her role involves promoting Ifremer’s multidisciplinary research and developing partnerships with the scientific and industrial communities to generate knowledge and solutions aimed at improving the performance of marine renewable energy installations while minimizing their impact on marine biodiversity and maritime uses.
With a dual background as ingénieure des ponts, des eaux et des forêts and a Ph.D. in marine ecology, she facilitates dialogue between academic researchers, public policymakers, and industry stakeholders. Before joining Ifremer, she worked at the intersection of science and public policy within government ministries and public institutions on maritime issues.
