Riccardo Longo is Senior Manager for Power System Integration at WindEurope, where he leads work on the integration of offshore and onshore wind into Europe’s evolving energy system. Holding a PhD in wind engineering and with more than ten years of experience across industry, research, and EU-funded programmes, he works at the intersection of technology, policy, and collaboration. Riccardo coordinates stakeholders including industry players, TSOs, regulators, and EU institutions to advance solutions on grids, HVDC, and hybrid systems, while also contributing to major initiatives such as Horizon Europe projects. He is committed to building a resilient and integrated power system that can enable the large-scale deployment of wind energy in Europe.
