Description
Carl Bois has been the managing director of Quiet-Oceans for a year after 9 years as Commercial Director. After MBA studies in France and the USA, as well as studies in Marine Environment, he has been involved in international business development, whether as commercial director of private companies, whether in the public sector as head of the Breton trade agency and at the Ille & Vilaine council (Eastern Brittany). He also has been in charge in the public sector for the fight against threats to the marine environment and seafarers and against illegal trafficking at sea.
Carl has been involved in the construction of more than 25 offshore wind farms in the world and more than 200 underwater noise projects, as much for the modelling of ambient noise and the prediction of the noise footprint of anthropogenic activities, as for the impact assessment of projects and the measurement and monitoring of noisy activities and of marine species.
Carl is also Consul for Norway to Brest in France.
