Description
Filippos Rodger Tsakiris is Head of Development of Offshore Wind Projects at TERNA Energy, a Masdar company.
He brings over a decade of international offshore wind experience from Siemens Gamesa and Ørsted.
At Siemens Gamesa, he developed the project plan for wind turbine delivery and floater integration for Hywind Scotland, the world’s first floating offshore wind farm.
At Ørsted, he led the identification of offshore wind sites across Europe and Asia–Pacific and the development of offshore wind farm designs and optimised business cases.
Earlier in his career, Filippos served as a researcher at the Icelandic Energy Authority and the National Laboratory of Denmark for Sustainable Energy.
He holds a MSc in Wind Energy Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, a MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, and a bachelor's in Physics from Grinnell College in the United States.
