Nantes Université is a public higher education and research institution bringing together a university and six member institutions (Centrale Nantes, the School of Art Nantes Saint-Nazaire, the école nationale supérieure d'architecture de Nantes, Nantes University Hospital, IRT Jules Verne and Inserm).
Nantes Université brings together approximately ten research units working on renewable marine energies. It mobilises expertise across a wide range of disciplines, from engineering (including durability of materials, instrumentation of structures, reliability of wind turbine foundations, and storage and transport of energy) to the humanities and social sciences (including economics, social sciences, maritime law, and marine biology).
