Subject to harsh offshore conditions and exposed to risks ranging from intrusion and malicious acts to nautical accidents, wind farms have become strategic assets whose safeguarding demands advanced, proactive, and highly innovative monitoring capabilities. This innovation call was therefore designed to stimulate disruptive approaches—leveraging artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, advanced sensing technologies, predictive analytics, and resilient communication architectures—to reinvent the way security and environmental protection are ensured at sea.
