Description
Jérôme Ribuot is an expert acting as consultant for the development of Offshore Renewable Energies.
He is currently managing the LEDJ consulting company deeply involved in various aspect of the energy transition, such as
- Port infrastructure adaptation for Floating Wind
- Industrial fabrication of Offshore Wind elements
- Wind Turbine sizing, Floater Industrial plan, Mooring design for upcoming projects in Mediterranean Sea
- Offshore Wind Electrical connection works in UK
Jérôme was previously in charge of developing Offshore Wind Business for Saipem in France and Worldwide with a strong focus on Foundation, Offshore Substation and Floating Wind (2017-2022).
He consolidated his Offshore experience as Floater Business Development Director within Saipem (2009-2017) in charge of SAIPEM FPSO-FPU-FLNG- GBS business in Australia, West Africa, Indonesia, Brazil, Norway, Canada and Russia.
In 2007 and 2008 he was based in Singapore to develop SAIPEM EPC offer for large Offshore plant by reshuffling and networking of SAIPEM group Asian Engineering resources (Singapore, Jakarta) and developing partnership with other large engineering companies and teaming up with Yards and Shipyards in Southeast Asia.
Jérôme Started his career at SOFRESID in 1991as Project manager and became CEO in 2000 after the acquisition by Bouygues Offshore (1999) which subsequently merged within Saipem (2002).
Jérôme is an active membre of EVOLEN, Cluster Maritime Français, Pôle Mer Méditérannée, Mines Energies.
Holding an IR Rating Pilot license and owing his own sailing boat he loves travelling be sea and air to meet people.
